One Day, Biggest Fish Event

Friday, July 26th, 2024
Weigh-in Location: Friday, July 26th, starts at 3:00pm and you must be in line no later than 4:00 PM at parking lot on north side of the Intermodal Building; 208 East Bayfront Pkwy; Erie, PA 16507 (round green roof), near the large inlet where ships can dock.
· Event is open to everyone, not just Summer Slam entrants
· Big Fish Friday weigh in will occur before the 5:00pm captains meeting
· Must register on-line by midnight July 25th (Thursday)
· $20 per division. (online registration only)
· (3) Divisions: Big Walleye and Silver Fish and a Combo=weigh your Big eye and silverfish together. (Eligible fish Include: salmon, brown trout and steelhead)
· There will be “1” winner in each division
· PA waters only. No fish may be entered if caught outside of PA waters
· All Pennsylvania Fish and Boat regulations apply to this event
· Fish may be scanned and probed for foreign objects. Any fish found to be tampered with intent to alter the fish’s weight will be cause for immediate D.Q. and removal from all future E.P.S.F.A events.
· Winner determined by total weight. Longer length will determine winner if a tie occurs.
· There are no starting time or end times
· Weigh in will be behind the Intermodal building on north parking lot (green circular dome roof building) located at 208 East Bayfront Pkwy., near Don Jon Ship Repair
· Weigh in starts @ 3:00 pm. Fish/cooler must be in line by 4:00 pm-sharp
· Only bring the “fish” you intend to weigh. You can weigh “2” fish if entered in both divisions or combo. division.
· Bring your fish to the scale “dry”. No excessive water. Blocked, bagged ice and frozen jugs are allowed
· E.P.S.F.A reserves the right to cut open any fish that are suspect. Refusal to allow fish inspection will be cause for immediate disqualification
· If a small craft advisory is issued before 6am, the event will be cancelled and money refunded. If no small craft is issued by 6:00 am, the event is a go, and participants can proceed at their own discretion.
