EPSFA KIDS Fishing Day

Kids Day was an event created to educate our youth about the local fishery and environment.  The EPSFA wanted to give back to the community and get families outdoors so the first Kid's Day took place in 2009. 2024 will mark the 14th Annual (Missed one year due to Covid). We have partnered with local clubs and have had tremendous support from local companies/clubs in providing a fun day of fishing for everyone. The event takes place every year on Memorial Day Weekend at Presque Isle State Park. Kids get an introduction to casting and an environmental education seminar. We also have a fishing derby for kids age 6-12. Prizes are given to all attendees along with a lunch.  

 Registration is limited to 100 ages 12 and under and will open in April 2024.  We hope to see everyone out on Presque Isle for a day of fun.
