Summer Slam
The 2012 Summer Slam has two divisions...Amateur and Open. Some of the general regulations regarding the different divisions are listed below. A full list of rules for each Division is available below...
Amateur Division
Entry Fee: $250.00
Minimum Boat Length: 17 ft LOA
Number of Rods: 6 (only two lures per rod allowed)
Number of Fish Weighed in: Maximum of 8 (only 4 steelhead allowed)
Communication Allowed: Other fishermen and Amatuer Division teams - None to Open Division
Observers: Not required
2012 Summer Slam Amateur Division Rules
*If you are a active or retired charter captain, fishing guide, commercial fisherman, represent a major fishing related product, or promote a major fishing product whose sales may increase by fishing in this tournament you MUST fish in the OPEN Division*
Open Division
Entry Fee: $450.00
Minimum Boat Length: 17 ft LOA
Number of Rods: 9 (only two lures per rod allowed)
Number of Fish Weighed in: Maximum of 12 (only 6 steelhead allowed)
Communication Allowed: None
Observers: Required - each Open team MUST supply an observor to ride on another teams boat for both days of the tournament. For a list of observor qualifications and requirements click here (These will be available after May 1st)
